4. Order Processing Times

Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days of receiving payment. During peak periods (bushfire season, storm season), this may extend to 2-3 business days.

Cut-off time: Orders placed before 12pm AEST Monday-Friday will typically be dispatched the same day (stock permitting). Weekend orders are processed on the next business day.

6. Delivery Issues & Support

While delivery services are highly reliable, issues can occasionally occur. Here's how we handle them:

Missed Delivery

If the carrier can't deliver and you receive a card, you can:

  • • Arrange redelivery via the carrier app or portal
  • • Collect from your nearest Post Office (bring ID)
  • • Request "Authority to Leave" for the next attempt

Lost or Damaged Parcels

All shipments are insured. If your parcel is lost or arrives damaged:

  • • Contact us within 24 hours at contact@bereadyaustralia.com.au
  • • Provide your order number and tracking number
  • • Include photos of damaged packaging/contents
  • • We'll arrange a replacement or full refund immediately

Delayed Delivery

If your parcel doesn't arrive within the estimated timeframe, check your tracking first. If tracking shows no movement for 3+ business days, contact us and we'll investigate with the carrier.

7. Interstate & Remote Delivery

We deliver emergency kits to every corner of Australia, including remote and offshore locations. Delivery networks support reliable service even to challenging destinations.

For very remote areas, additional delivery time may be required:

  • Cape York, Top End, Kimberley: Add 3-5 business days
  • Offshore islands (Tasmania, Norfolk Island): Add 2-4 business days
  • Very remote mining/pastoral properties: Contact us for specific timeframes

8. Shipping FAQ

Do you ship on weekends?

We don't dispatch orders on weekends, but carriers deliver 7 days a week in most metro areas. Orders placed Friday-Sunday are processed Monday.

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

Yes, if your order hasn't been dispatched yet. Contact us immediately at contact@bereadyaustralia.com.au with your order number and new address. Once dispatched, you'll need to contact the carrier directly to redirect.

What if I'm not home for delivery?

The carrier will leave a card with collection details. You can arrange redelivery, collect from your nearest Post Office, or use the carrier app to request authority to leave for the next delivery attempt.

Do you offer express shipping?

Yes! Express Post options are available at checkout for faster delivery (usually 1-2 business days to metro areas). This is ideal if you need your emergency kit urgently.

Can I track multiple orders at once?

Yes. Most carrier apps allow you to track multiple parcels in one place. Add each tracking number to your account.

Do you ship to PO Boxes?

Yes, we deliver to PO Boxes. However, some larger emergency kits may be too large for standard PO Boxes and will require collection from the Post Office counter.
